Watching the tv last week I was made aware that applications are now open for peoples electric accounts. What I would suggest you do is go onto your electric companies website , see if they do the Warm home discount , see the criteria to get this benefit ,if you meet the eligibility then apply for this and you will receive a rebate of £140 off your electric whether your on prepayment meter, direct debit or any other way you pay for your electricity .

Forget it you've worked for years and years paying your stamp and then suddenly find yourself on ESA.

Happy days if you haven't worked a day in your life though.
