Hi all is any one getting this hot hot weather. I live in the highlands of Scotland and so for it's been icy cold. I've have a open fire going. It's been going now for 14 day's.
Yeah I am in Dornoch its freezing!
I have just had to put my onesie on and i am under the duvet in front of the teev lol
I have icicles hanging from my eyebrows too!
I'm in Cumbria and it is ridiculouslay hot, fancy swapping for a month or two til it passes?!
The UK has the advantage of having (subjective) crappy weather (i.e. rain) but that's actually not a bad thing. Too much hot weather can be insufferable.
My body's temperature has gotten used to balanced hot/cold seasons so I tend to sweat more than others during hot seasons and on cold seasons I dress like it's summer. Plus, when I take a shower it's cold water.
We don't really have that much bad weather. It's just that our weather is unpredictable. And I agree with you about hot weather. Too much of anything can become boring. I wouldn't like to live in a country where it is hot (or cold) all year round.
Over here in the West Midlands it feels like an oven. May as well cook my dinner outside.
