I enjoy skimming through the chat - some topics are of more interest than others, but there are a three or four topics which sometimes get lost back a few pages - such as 'Introduce Yourself', 'Freebie and Competition Winners' etc which I think are great for new members.
Does anyone else think it would be a good idea if these topics were permanently top of the list? (If it is technically possible of course)
Yeah, I think that's a good idea, "Introduce yourself" is a good starting point to joining in with Chat.
Yeah I think this is a great idea! Not sure about it always being top of the chat but maybe if new users received a notification to direct them there? Just an idea
I quite like the chat section, sorta my fave on LD. The video game deals section used to be my fave before but it's pretty barebones and I'm not much into buying games these days so hopefully someone else picks up and improves it.
I think it be fab if there was a proper chat . Coz ive made a few nice friends on here who dont have any social media.so how do we get each other's addresses n phone numbers etc x I suppose we could email each other x ...
I'm always dubious on sharing too much information - 'introduce yourself' was fine as I have a very common name and only gave the county where I live. It's nice to chat to people and nicer to include new people in conversations which is why I started this topic.
I am glad you have made some lovely friends on this site, you can never have enough friends.
I keep on getting a message saying that I have reached my limit but I have not shared anything for a while. Please help me.
That means you have hit the limit of sharing daily deals/freebies/vouchers/competitions. It's kind of annoying it stops users from posting for limited time but makes sense.
Rockman I have not shared anything for some time but I still get the same message when I try to share something.
Morning HelenPacker I've just responded to your email. Hopefully all sorted now
think this would be great as I really like knowing about the community and unless I Think to search I miss lots of useful and nice to know stuff re the LD family
I am always searching for the page I created about Freebies and Comp wins, but it is fairly easy to find so I really do not mind so much. Having pinned posts may be a nice idea though.
Yes to a sticky thread, yet I would place them on the left of the page as on some forums I used when there is a few sticky threads at the top they kind of get in the way.
