Website Update - Save Deals and Shiny New Comments
News
Morning
As usual this tech update has lots of behind the scenes stuff that I won’t bore you with
Let’s get straight to the exciting changes!
- SAVE DEALS - By popular demand you can now save posts for later. Just click the “Save” button on a post and it’ll store itself on your user profile for later. No more hunting through Latest Deals trying to find that kettle you swore was on offer for £2 earlier in the day
- SEE DEALS LIKED, COMPETITIONS ENTERED - We’ve revamped your profile page to include not only the deals you’ve shared (and now saved too) but you can also see deals you’ve liked and competitions you’ve entered. This is private to you. No-one else can see what you’ve liked, saved or entered.
- CHATTY COMMENTS - Comments have had a lick of paint - the new “bubbles” hopefully make it quicker to see the conversation at a glance. I like to think the refreshed “Write a comment…” box is more inviting and it sets the foundations for some new commenting features coming soon.
We hope you enjoy this update - if you have any feedback please let us know below!

I will have to give this a go and try it out. I noticed it a while ago, although I would swear that when I first arrived at the site this morning (early, of course) it was in the old format.

How to see a list of every competition you have entered:
1. Go to your Profile
2. Press 'Entered'

Like the new lay out. It be much better now I can have a save item . I've lost some deals trying to find them. Keep the good work up Tom and your team.

What happened to the funny thanks comments that were used on the competition posts? I mean the comments such as "Entered and crossed my pinkies and toes" and the like. I don't seem to see them anymore.

Tom It's a shame as I loved the quirkiness of them.
But I understand. Thanks for the link. Didn't notice it before.
