Wedding Gift
Ask a Question
How much do people think it is appropriate to give at a wedding if going in the day/night so many different opinions I’m off to an evening one on Saturday and intrigued at peoples different opinions
I think it depends a little on how close you are to the bride or groom, and if they are family etc.
i gave my sister a personalised bunting for their gift. she gifted me a scrabble personalised frame for mine. i love personal gifts
Depends how well you know the couple, if they are friends or family. When I got married I told people not to buy me anything but ofcourse no one listened! If it is just for the evening reception then £15-20 seems reasonable to me but I would also say that whatever you can afford is what you give, so if you can only afford £10 then give £10.
Id say it depends on the person getting married and how close you are, then again if they were that close you would probably be going in the day. I would gove £20.
Hi, my mum and granny always say that if going to the day part it's nice to cover the cost of the dinner and add extra for a wedding gift. If going in the evening I would give around £25 depending on how well I know that them
