Weeds and Artificial Grass
Ask a Question
I have weeds growing through my artificial grass and they are difficult to remove.
Does anyone else have this problem? What would you recommend?
I saw some terrifically realistic artificial grass last week ...with small dandelion leaves poking through and I have to admit that initially I wondered if they were intentional so as to really push the realism! I'd have thought maybe targeted weedkillerspray (or paint on) would do the job as Pppathome suggested. .... maybe try a spray in a corner?
Just buy a spray weedkiller that kills roots. You only need very small amount of weedkiller for it to work. You could try a little sprinkle of salt on the weeds first to see if it works for u. Roundup is a good one to buy just don't over spray any weeds as you will waist it.
BlueEyesX we’ve got the same issue. We don’t want to damage or discolour the artificial grass and the weeds are very difficult to remove by hand.
It’s amazing how weeds can root in the smallest places with no watering or food. Whereas the expensive plants we’ve bought, planted carefully, nurtured, fed and watered just wither and die
