It is about eating healthy and reducing portion size alongside exercising. Find an exercise that you enjoy as it will be easier to motivate yourself to do it. If crisps or chocolate is your downfall then don't have any in the house! Or if you absolutely can't do without them get the lower fat and lower calories ones. Give up fizzy drinks, use sweeteners instead of sugar. Use a smaller plate for meals as there is less room to pile food on. Drink more water. And don't be too hard on yourself if you slip up or are finding it hard.

You really have to find what works for you. When I’m trying to lose weight I generally follow a low carb diet, it’s not for everyone though so whatever ‘diet’ you decide on - do your research 👍🏻

Try walking more, I used to motivate myself to get fit by saving money and found that I started walking places instead of using car or public transport, which I came to love and enjoy. I incorporated walking with eating a balanced diet and literally found the weight was just dropping off after a few months. Not mention my bank balance was looking alot healthier too.

Exercise is the answer. A couple of years ago I tried the slim fast foods and it worked for me along with exercise. I do all my exercises from home, Zumba and Yoga ( check out You tube, if you don’t have a Wii ), also I have a bslimmer Power Vibration Plate, a running machine and a sit up combo machine. I also walk my dog for two hours a day and walk to my nearest town six miles away once a week. I also cut out bread. Hope some of these ideas work. But the main thing is motivation and looking forward to the results, good luck.

As others have said, walking is a great all round work out. It's free, and you get to see some lovely places/people you may otherwise not have encountered.

i started 4 weeks ago. I have cut out almost all saturated fat, trans fat etc. Also cut out sugar and replaced with a natural sweetner. Im veggie anyway so i think that kind of helps. 1 stone 4 pounds down in a month so im happy.

My wifes lost 3 stone and ive lost 2 &1/2. We still eat the majority of things we ate before just cook them differently or use lower fat products. Loads if meal ideas on pinch of nom or insta 👍🏻

Cut the sugar, replace with honey, don't waste your time and money with Gym. Whenever I went I tend to find too many people were busy posing for Insta rather then sticking to objective!

Overeating & lack of exercise is usual culprit of weight gain.. How do you stop overeating? Drinking a glass of water 30 minute before a meal will help you eat less

Walking is the best, having someone with you on same journey always helps with motivation!

Back to basics, walk for your daily weekly shop (Yes I know it may be a long walk and you arms will ache) but our parents had no cars..

Summer is coming.. time to get on your hands and knees and get your garden cleaned & ready in time for summer

Sex..(Don't know if am allowed to discuss this here..) once every 2 days (Where possible if you have a partner) where hopefully your working up a proper sweat. This area is kinda neglected by loads that want to loose weight.

Contact your local council they are always looking for volunteers to help keep local parks clean. You may meet some great people and loose weight.

Whatever you decide do something you enjoy!
