Do you have any examples that have prompted this post maybe? Can't think of any now, but have wondered why some deals were so popular!

Remember that some just 'Like' popular Deals to get the points MeestairChrees because they are too lazy to scroll past the first page, I've often queried Deals to myself but that's usually the reason why, it's sad as so many earlier in the day Deals just get ignored because of that! x

Nothing in particular! Just a few weird ones where there has been a deal that is way too expensive even before and after the deal - can't think of a particular weird one atm either, haha.

Jo, that's annoying. I didn't think of it like that - that's annoying. I think you should like the ones you think are beneficial to the website.

1m0g3n What's expensive to you may not be to another, also it might me a 'wanted' item but was not affordable before the deal now it is. I don't think most of the grocery ones are deals as supermarkets have a rota of which item is the loss leader for the week.

lilyflower That's true. I meant that at other places they would be much cheaper, so the deal seems ridiculous, or the polar opposite, where the deals only mean like 30p off.

JoTarpley yeah I've seen a few good deals not get any attention at all. Shame really.

1m0g3n I think if they're cheaper elsewhere, as long as that's somewhere accessible to most, then that shouldn't count as a deal.

1m0g3n I agree, I've seen some go into hundreds, even a couple of thousands I've seen, I don't expect to see deals like that, I only expect to see deals for prices an average person would pay in an average week, I've tut tutted at many I've seen but I think if they get to a certain number of 'Likes' that's it, it's automatic sadly! x

Well not weird but pointless deals are 10p off certain biscuits.

I've seen my fair few of them, despite only being on here for a few days - it's the 20p off a shirt or something? Like what's the point?

What was it for?

1m0g3n A pack of two USB cables that worked out free, including postage. It wasn't life-changing but they're nice cables with nylony stuff around them.

I use a magnetic USB cable for my phone/tablet and it's the best thing I've ever used for it. Wired cables are a bit of a thing of the past for these devices for me.

Also, I reckon if I used wired cables I'd have dropped my tablet/phone as sometimes I get up during the night and can't see anything till I turn on the light. lol Dennab
