Well, items at £5 isn't exactly much of a save like £1 ones were. People like going to the 99p stores cause it's really cheap and affordable but £5 here, £5 elsewhere, £5 somewhere else.. some folks are tight with their budget.

If I need something then I would probably go have a look, if there was one close to me. There are so many bargain shops because people use them. The only problem is it means that some of them don't survive due to the competition and it means there are lots of empty spaces on highstreets.

I usually steer clear of pound shops unless I’m looking for something specific (e.g cheap earphones for my commute and I’ve forgotten mine at home) because I actually think in most of these shops the products aren’t bargains! Mostly just cheap tat IMO. The branded stuff always seems to be smaller in terms of weight so I’d just pick up the bigger packs during my normal weekly shop anyway x

Hmm....not sure about it, sounds like a lot of things will be not on deal there. Same like in Poundland, lot of things are more expensive than in other places or you just get smaller pack of chocolates...etc

But people go there because there are some great deals and it is only £1. I do not think that £5 store will work, you will get 4 things £20 gone....

I was just wondering is this new shop related to the clothing website everything5pounds? Are they owned or run by the same people?
