What's the Best Thing That Has Ever Happened to You?
Ask a Question
It can be anything that has happened to you as a child till now.
I think the best thing that's ever happend to me is getting offered a job.
Don't wanna sound cheesy but best thing that happened to me was finding out I was pregnant with my first child at the time my mum had died I was working none stop to keep me occupied I was in a bad place mentally it was having my child that saved me
Leannexxx That's not cheesy, don't be silly. That sounds wonderful. Im sorry you had a difficult time then, but im glad having your first child saved you.
The best things that happened to me are meeting my husband and having my son. Meeting my husband changed me as a person, in a good way. Having our son was a roller coaster due to a difficult pregnancy, very difficult Birth and of course his heart condition and everything that that entailed. My husband and I got through it together, we were a team, we supported each other and we were each others rocks. It brought us and our family closer together. Despite so much heartache and struggle, our son brought us joy everyday. My family means the world to me. I'm where I am now and who I am because of the 2 people I love most in the world.
MrsCraig That's really lovely to hear! Im going to get married next year and im very excited about it. Not only am I going to have a husband but also a best friend who is always going to be there for me and who I can always rely on. I always wanted a family and this is the start of something special.
Justshopping that sounds just like my husband and I. We are definitely best friends and are always there for each other. I adore my wee family, nothing more special.
Surviving a roll over car crash in my MG midget convertible when i was younger
The doctors said the crack in my spine was 5mm away from me being totally paralysed
It was only because my headrest didnt collapse as the passenger side did and stopped me being crushed
That made me appreciate life ever so much more
Thanks J
I had 6 months off work in a surgical collar, and got married in it
Just have arthritis in my neck now , particularly when cold
But grateful to be alive
telmel You are really brave. Im glad that your looking at life positively. I know people that have gone through that and given up.
I feel stronger now J, i never gave up driving, i think its the worst thing to do
Any problems or people i come against now are irrelevant
It was the kick up the rear i needed
And thank you for your kind words
Thanks M
It was a long time ago, i still have the photos of my poor little MG looking like a sardine can
Cars can be replaced, but not people
Long time since but yes tragic indeed. The two sisters died together driving home.Their brother decided to stay on and lives still. The Father killed himself years later because they were leaving his home when the accident happened.I have lost many friends in tragic circumstances. A good many of them between the ages of 17-40! For which reason I refuse to allow trivial disputes to throw me off balance.Everybody needs to be kind..it aint that hard really.
Justshopping Only way JS Life is a blessing not an encumbrance. I have too much to be grateful for.
Best thing that happened me was when we combined our a e back to one as we didn’t need to have a seperate entrance for all the ? Covid patients coming in non stop and we could stop wearing full ffp masks
