What's Your Biggest Life Lesson from Lockdown?
Ask a Question
Mine is that surrendering to what is and going with the flow is a heck of a lot less painful than fighting to change things.
Anyone else have any life lessons from lockdown?
To assume your/my time is limited and to not waste a single second of it because we dont know what is round the corner.
For me it's that I can utilise my time for more interesting things than watching tv and going on my phone . Being inside has forced me to be more creative.....I've taken up painting by numbers, visited more open spaces in my area, started making candles....the list is endless!
I think I’ve learnt to sit and enjoy my garden instead of just spending time working in it.
I have learnt to enjoy the little things. They are different for everyone based on circumstances but sometimes they are the most important even if we don't see it at the time
Make the most of everything. All the ‘little things’ in life, like visiting family or going a drive somewhere for a day out with the kids that just seemed like a regular thing we took for granted now
To slow down, hold on to the better work life balance (a year at home rather than commenting into the city 5 days a week has been eye opening). Appreciate the small things and remember to connect more regularly with those you care about.
Wouldn't call it a life lesson necessarily but I decided not to worry as it not helpful simply to do everything I can to protect my little family
That some people are all for them selfs liars and care for no1 bar themselfs yet others are truley honest people who care for other life
I agree, some so called friends are good at saying you’re friends and send gushing messages but don’t mean it. You realise after a while who your real friends are.
Since last year's lockdown, i've been taking things a lot slower and not rushing around trying to get everything done in one day. My health has improved by lots of homemade cooking and taking extra long walks.
Be thankful for what you've got as regards health, happiness or lifestyle ..... thousands of others would give anything for what I have .... no matter how poor it may appear on occasions !
