I can’t keep cool it’s so hot to sleep! Me and the hubby are up playing Monopoly... fan prices are shocking right?!?
I don't understand how anyone can say that they love hot weather to be honest. A nice sunny and pleasant 20-25 Celsius is all that is needed I think. Just like the weather we had during May.

The wife loves hot weather, but even she found it hard yesterday because it was soooooooo heavy. Thankfully, we had a bit of a storm which cleared the air a little. Saw some lovely sheet lightning.
25°C is about as much that I can cope with.

nazmin The sun is at its strongest at this time of the year. Heatwaves from mid August onwards are generally far more bearable.
Hardly slept. I would like to enjoy the summer if the temp is low 20's. Anything higher than 25 it's not fun anymore.
I think its too warm for the weather to be comfortable enough to enjoy, I have 2 fans on with 4 dogs in season so my male dog is going ballistic! It's 9am now and I still haven't been to sleep 
. Im nipping out today to get some cooling mats from B and M they are only £3 at the moment and a complete life saver, I accidentally pierced mine the other night and its been a disaster every since

I’ve got a husband and child that hog the fans in our house I end up opening the freezer door and chilling in there 
It’s not been too hot for me. I’m used to even hotter temperatures. If it’s too hot, you just get used to not sleeping at night and finding you need a nap in the day
That’s exactly how I feel, we’re all unable to sleep at night then we are all grumpy in the afternoon!
Had to take take the 15 tog duvet off the bed and put on the 10.5 because my other half was complaining about the heat. I’m still wearing my fleecy jammas. 
Oh my goodness I felt like that earlier... my hubby goes “hunni its 29’c outside and ur wearing your night gown”
nazmin I’m sitting here with my fleecy jammas and a fleecy blanket over me watching tv. Hahaha. Been in the garden all day puttin up a greenhouse. It was so cold here tonight i had to change into joggers 2 t shirts a hoody and a jacket and I was still chilly. didn’t come in till 11 mind you and it was thick fog
i'm basically walking around my house with just my pants on because it's just so hot. 
I’m loving it during the day as I am a total sun worshipper but it can get quite uncomfortable at night and I end up sleeping with the covers off. I’m too scared to leave the window open at night as I live in a bungalow Incase someone tries to climb in lol

We live in a bungalow too, but we have no problems with leaving the windows open as we're in a very low crime area.
It really is a shame when people are scared of crooks taking advantage 
TheChimp there have been several breakins in the east end Glasgow lately and wouldn’t want to take the risk (even happening during the day whilst people are at home) not too bothered what happens to myself more concerned if something happened to my little one. The area where we live is quite a quiet estate and neighbours are quite nice . Suppose it’s just paranaoia lol

Make some frozen treats you can cool yourself down with when it's warm, maybe have one before bed if that's when you need cooling down. You could make your own smoothie lollies or yogurt lollies (can just put a wooden stick or a spoon right into the lid and put that straight in the freezer, when you want it just remove the lid and slide out of the yogurt pot and enjoy!)
last night was the worst night for my lil family we all woke up in sweats I just can’t cool the house down!

hahaha Loislane same how hot i was the weather is so strange it gets really hot any you don't wear a lot of clothes and after hours you go to sleep and it get cold suddenly
next day you wake up it is raining and cold all of your family wears jumpers and heafy cousy clothes at night you go to bed it get extremely hot until you find yourself without a blanket and wake up from your sleep to cool off with a cold smoothie or cold water or even ice cream ect...and change your clothes to something else to cool you as well off it does not work

Last night I was in the rain at 2am singing “oh let it raaaaaaaiiiiin” but it was hot smelly sticky rain!

Today’s winds are extremely strong! and London is slowly getting back to being busy! It was lovely not having so much traffic!
we bought a hot tub 4 years ago and it has been rarely used in the last year or so, but now its been a godsend with the lockdown etc, we had our holiday cancelled so had a staycation in our own back garden which we did up really nice using our holiday refund money ;)
