Great value for their burger and drink deal, but I haven't been in for ages and have no plans to. Boycotting for political reasons.

It’s really not for me I’m afraid, I know it’s considered cheap & cheerful but it’s just so cheap the quality of the food is too poor. I’m blessed that I live in a big city and can probably get a decent meal elsewhere for a similar price. can’t complain about their drinks though.

Love Wetherspoons, nice atmosphere at the time I go (not Evenings), great prices and I actually like the food. Typically I'd have a vegetarian breakfast and maybe toast and preserves which provides the hot drink and typically would have 2 refills of the drink. Now that they have widened the range of drinks from the machines including Mocha it is much better too. So I might have a Cappuccino to start, then perhaps a Mocha and finish with a hot chocolate all for about £2.50 or similar with toast and preserves. Yes I'm exploiting their free refill offer a bit. I probably average about 1 visit per month so not exactly their best customer. In the summer when I'm going to the beach its much more frequent.

I voted remain in the referendum but was right on the fence at the time but even if I had strong remain views it wouldn't stop me using Wetherspoons but I must admit I do not buy from companies linked to animal cruelty and un-necessary experiments on animals or companies that exploit Africa and other poor countries.

I'm not a big fan of the founder, but Wetherspoons have a decent selection of beers at a cheaper price than other pubs.

The food is not great, it's not clean and you can really stick to the floor. Not only that but, the cheap beer just entices the drunks all day every day - of course im thinking of the one we have near us, they might not all be like that?

If that is NOT the Stockport one - then there is obviously more than one. The last time I was in just over 5 years ago, I caught a glimpse of the kitchen, just before the manager rushed up and slammed the door shut to prevent too much being seen, that quick glimpse was enough for me to vow never to eat (or drink) in a Wetherspoons again.

I can’t remember the last time we went to a Wetherspoon pub but I do remember it was incredibly cheap. The service was poor and the table dirty so I’m in no rush to go back.

Wetherspoons in other parts of the country appear to be fine but the one in my home town is a bit too rough for me. I don't feel safe in there. I haven't been in that one for many many years. I will go to other ones and eat and haven't had any issues.

I love Wetherspoons, I find it such good value for money; when I do eat out (about once a month); it's usually there.

Will not touch the place with a barge pole . Last time I at there me and my entire family all suffered from food poisoning . Later found out what caused the food poisoning was from food which had been used the previous day and people had suffered as well that day . Also personally I despise the owner with how he treats his staff and get a huge amount of satisfaction that he told his staff to go to tesco when covid hit as he wasn't going to pay them and campaigned for brexit and now he can't get staff to work for him .

That's what you call Karma! I must admit I have become very wary of where I eat out these days as I just don't trust the hygiene of most places. So many young people who have probably never been on a food hygiene course and I do worry about hand washing after toilet, cross contamination etc. I worked in a pub for quite a while and one day arrived for work to be warned by one of the other barmaids, 'don't eat any of the bar food today, I have just seen the boss washing a block of cheese that had a load of blood from a joint that dripped on it'.

Also, many years ago my son and I went to see a restaurant owner who was selling a car, he took us through the kitchen to the back yard and to say that the kitchen was dirty is a gross understatement!

My husband likes Wetherspoons, possibly because we don’t have chips much at home. However, I like to cook and if I go out to eat I like to have food that I wouldn’t cook because it is too much trouble.

Mot to be a snob, I wouldn't go in the day - the foods not the best, and the people that go there from my area are people I'd rather avoid. BUT I have been for drinks of an evening, once your sloshed the foods not bad and drinks are cheap as chips

My daughter loves Weatherspoon and introduced to me before lockdown. We had some lovely meals in there and spent good times having a natter.

Haven't been in a Wetherspoons for a very long time now but used to enjoy an all day breakfast for a treat.

The menu is bland and predictable but it is cheap. A bit like McDonalds, you know exactly what you are going to get in Wetherspoons! I like their policy of renovating old buildings and reading the local history is interesting. My partner loves real ale so likes to visit any he sees! 🙄

Can’t stand Tim Martin.

If you want cheap food and drinks then its the place for you. I don't like the place and the owner, well I can say what I think of him without the comment getting removed 😆
