Whats Your Favourite Comedy Movies

I must admit that I am not a fan of comedies as I always expect more than they supply when it comes to laughs. I find them more entertaining if I am watching with family/friends but sitting alone it is hard to find them very funny. However, I have found the odd film really funny when watching with my sons, although mostly I am laughing at them laughing!

The tragi-comedy I did enjoy last year was Ricky Gervais in After Life. If anyone watched it I found the episode where he and his journalist colleague visited a lady who was making food for sale out of her breast milk....hilarious.

I like Airplane!, The Jerk, The Producers (1967), 'South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut', Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, The Closet, Kitchen Stories, The Greasy Strangler, Kingpin, Old School, etc

3idiots... love this movie... and home alone series...

Nothing beats 80s comedy movies x

I loved the movie Friday with ice cube in my teens, watched it again recently & its still very funny. Also love Clerks 1 & 2 (2 is funnier imo). Mall rats is funny too.

I have all the Pink Panther films (with Peter Sellers) on DVD - to watch, even though I think I've seen them all before, some a few times. I'm sure if I can find time to watch them I'll enjoy again. I watch very little TV though.

I used to love all the Adam sandler movies I.e big daddy, little Nicky, happy Gilmore, waterboy etc etc

I know I know....It is not even Winter or Christmas but I just love Home Alone

Any of the family comedies from the 80s and 90s remind me of happier, simpler times. And Forrest Gump is one of my faves - lots of silliness but takes you on a fun journey
