Do you use Face Wash or soap?

Ask a Question

I have sensitive skin so use fragrance free face wash like Simple Face Wash. Soap just dries my skin out!πŸ˜–

At the moment I use Boots tea tree and witch hazel foaming face wash, it is gentle on skin. I've only used soap if I have run out of face wash, but it is always simple soap. I sometimes use a vitamin e face wash from the body shop. I always buy the boots one when on 3 for 2 or with my points and I get given the body shop one as a gift. I am going to see if Aldi sells any fave wash next time I'm in to see if I can save some money!

SAdeals I've used other toiletries from Aldi which are great so hoping the face wash is good too! I will need to take a look next time I'm in Wilko.

SAdeals MrsCraig Image I have got the face washes from Aldi, they are 85p each! The gel one seems quite runny to me so I just use that as a face wash before moisturiser and make up in the mornings. Neither of them are very good for make up removal so I use my trusted Nivea scrub and then sometimes follow up with the other Lacura moisturising wash. Out of them all my go to would be the Nivea!

AliceBell64468 thanks for letting me know. I would be using it in the mornings before moisturiser, never tried the Nivea one before. My husband tends to steal my face wash so I try to buy ones that are suitable for both of us!

AliceBell64468 thanks for sharing this. I've never tried the Nivea one. I know the Nivea skincare is not suitable for my skin but perhaps this will work. I'll check it out online! πŸ‘πŸΌ

My daughter suffers terrible acne and the only thing clears it is dove bar soap blue and white box. I have started using as been getting boils from face mask and after a week I have noticed fab results.

im like you, my skin is super sensitive and usually either break out in patches of dry skin or my face feels tight.

i use face wash then use vitamin e oil to help. which has actually helped my skins patchiness from the previous dry skin issues

I use Aldi’s Hot Cloth Cleanser which is very similar to Liz Earle one. It’s also comes with a muslim cloth and it’s also vegan.

IonaJones that sounds like a great product. I was in Lidl today and spotted a face wash for sensitive skin for just 85p! Packaging looked similar to Simple but at a much cheaper price.!

Currently I am using Sanctuary face wash, to use up last year's Christmas gifts. Love the smell and it doesn't dry my skin out. I personally don't like soap (bar) I prefer liquid soap.

Face wash. Soap, unless specified its for the face, isn't for use on the skin. It will leave it feeling dry and tight

I always use a moisturising antibacterial liquid soap, ever since i have been doing this my skin has cleared up and much much cheaper than other products for the same use.

make sure it’s a really nourishing one.

i still cleanse and moisturise but it makes a world of difference

I’ve got two face washes now that I have acne. I use the CeraVe SA Renewing cleanser on occasion and the Sukin sensitive face wash daily. Before that, I used Dove Beauty Bars.
