Whats Your Favourite Supermarket to Shop At?

Ask a Question

I have mainly been shopping at Tesco doing click and collect but it would be good to know what & why other supermarkets have been popular during this time?

For me Asda had been great with click and collect. I haven't really been in store but I have been able to find slots really easily online

Asda ever since I worked there as a student about a decade ago. Stuck with them. Prices are reasonable and their own branded goods are pretty tasty

SonsOfPitches I actually have a shopping order with them this week as I couldn’t get one at Tescos and I did order a few Asda own branded goods so your comment is quite promising! Thanks!

Before lockdown I'd go between Tesco, Aldi, Iceland & Heron. Since lockdown we've stuck to Tesco & Iceland. Tesco is my favourite out of all the big Supermarkets.

I shop at both Sainsbury's and Aldi, but my main weekly shopping is done at Aldi.

I tend to use Aldi for my main shop as closest to where I live and shop about half an hour before closing as store always empty 0f customers and that suits me perfect, but if I walk into my town centre usually pick up some bits and pieces in Sainsburys.

it depends. I find that Aldi are cheapest, but they don't carry everything, so Tesco and Asda are good for their range

Aldi, I do all my shopping there although I also do a large selection at B&M as they stock a large selection of food, including freezer produce.

xhetal12x I think some are bigger than others. Ours was a Homebase so is very large. They don't have a lot of fresh fruit, veg but have bread and milk daily and it's good for tins, cereal, crisps and alcohol etc and freezer items are good value too

enjoy! their stock levels are returning, but they don't seem to be able to do their specials on a weekly basis just yet (might be as they're not essential so they haven't prioritised them), but all grocery goods are well priced

Asda you can usually find everything all in one place which I personally think is safer than going here there and every where if I only need a few bits I will go to aldi as it’s closer to me
