What's Your Opinion on the Latest Deals Points System?

Latest Deals

Out of curiosity I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the Latest Deals Points System?

- Do you actively collect points to swap for Amazon vouchers?

- Have you successfully claimed a voucher/vouchers?

- Do you like having the incentive?

- If anything, what else do you like about the points system?

- If anything, what do you think could improve the points system?

I’ve had 1 or 2 vouchers and like the various ways they can be collected. I don’t just do points though, I like the site mostly as it’s quite useful and lots of helpful people.

The points are a good idea. I have had a view amazon gift cards, but I think they should offer PayPal as well

The points are great towards the vouchers! I did like the idea of posting 6 deals a day. And the chat section is also good to have with the different chat topics there are

TiaTia yeah I agree. The only thing is the big gap between 50,000 and 100,000 points. I feel like I've been stuck in between forever lol 😆

skmoskmo212 Just carry on doing what your doing and don't concentrate on the points going up, you'll get there 👍.

points system not fair , when you complete a survey to be told you were screened out so get 3 points instead of full amount, if you complete 40% of the survey you should get 40% of the points.

sniper4866 Latest Deals doesn't directly do any surveys so I think you may be talking about another website (we do promote other survey sites so that may be where the confusion lies)

I've been on LD for a long time now, many years and I absolutely love the points system. I've had numerous vouchers over the years and it's helped us save loads of money.

Nothing wrong with the system, and yes I have received every voucher I submitted for, in really quick time, I just add them to my Amazon balance and save them up to use for Christmas presents

It's a good system but my points don't increase as fast as others as I refuse to post non-deals where a product is actually poor value despite the fake reduction shown. That is one of the issues with the points system where people post terrible deals for points.

BonzoBanana I think that that's why there is a limit on the amount of deals/competitions/freebies etc that can be posted in a day ❤️

I like it because it gives me so many ideas on products I have not seen before only problem it makes me feel old at times when it shows fashion items that I used to have years ago.

I think the system on the whole is pretty good, I do collect points to trade for amazon vouchers. Some things though do seem to be a bit nitpicky. I have tried to post competitions on several occasions and they kept getting flagged, after a little while i decided not to bother because it became more hassle than it's worth and I didn't really understand why some of them were being moderated.

jms19 I’ve had several competitions rejected too with comments that’s it’s a local deal.

Pjran I think they should include local deals. I’ve bought quite a few items which were reduced from my local store. It would have been good to share on LDs.

Pjran yeah I’ve had things rejected for being local deals as well as for other reasons. I get the local deals one but for some of the others it just became too much hassle to keep editing them even though i know the competitors were perfectly fine.

I've only recently joined and already had the couple of early vouchers and I enjoy looking through the deals. Feel the points system should be maybe every 10,000 for the £10 voucher or every 25,000 for a £25 voucher. Wouldn't mind seeing different vouchers where you coild maybe use them on just eat or Asda or something

thepaxman I completely agree with this. I'm in the in between stage of 50,000 to 100,000 to get my next voucher and it's been well over a year of collecting points and I'm still not near 100,000 x

Yes, change the points voucher claim points to every £10 or £25, this would be much more useful!
