If I was ever brave enough (and I'm almost certainly not!) Id fancy getting a double decker bus and having it converted into a mobile home with all mod cons. There are quite a few out there already and some of them look stunning. (I am a bus enthusiast hence my interest)
didbygraham me and my other half always said when the kids have upped and left we want to either convert a double decker bus into a home or get one of those big camper vans and just hit the road lol
I would love to live on a narrowboat but not practical with the family at the moment. Also it’s the up keep and mooring fees that add up.
