When Entering Facebook comps....
Ask a Question
having your comment, liked, replied to by the comp host and then sometimes being made a top fan. This has happened to me so many time now. Despite this, I still don't win. I used to think that because my comment had stood out to the comp host and responded to that it meant I was in with a good chance of winning, but no. I used to get my hopes up. There's several pages that seem to really like my responses but I never win. Does that happen to anyone else here? I can never tell how facebook comp winners are picked.
I can certainly relate to this. I think those companies doing the giveaways are more interested in making something of themselves than anything else.
I have always been skeptical of social media comps, especially ones giving away huge prizes. I have been entering numerous social media comps for a long time and haven't won a thing. So I decided to give that up a few months ago.
Also, when it comes to privacy I don't trust Facebook anyway.
RegularComper90 I have completely ditched sharing the Range and B&M comps as they never post a winner or an available list of winners. (I have punctuated their comp pages regularly posts asking 'who won?' and never answered) I have also recently discovered a particular comp host in Cornwall that chooses 'randomly' entrants that live within the county which is a bit unfair. I suppose it's a case of their comp, their rules but it does take the fun out of entering.
angemski Many people don't seem to know this, but did you know that it is actually against Facebook rules for companies to get users to share the company's posts in exchange for entries?
