2 weeks n kids are no round here will be 7 weeks off n gotta say fingers crossed they have had a fab time with the weater x makes a nice change for all the mums n dads x
Here in Scotland kids went back to last Thursday. They break at the end of June. So by next week every child will be back at school. They have all so got a shorter break over Christmas..but here they have clubs that they can go to. Over there holidays.

They will just be glad to be back so they aren't as bored! It will wear off in a few weeks and they will be counting down till the October holidays!
I was off as much as the kids are now. We had between 6-7 weeks in summer, 2 weeks in October, 2 weeks at Christmas and a week in February. It is a bit more spread out now, as we only get a few days in February and sometimes they get a few days in September, but it is the exact same amount of time off. There is a legal requirement about how many days they have to be in school for, so the amount of days they get off reflects that. I only know this as my husband and I are teachers.
