When Do You Put out the Christmas Presents Out?

We have always put our gifts out on christmas eve...not under the tree with 5 children but they all had their spot in our living room. And would be up at the crack of dawn ....sqeeling with happiness.

We put presents under the tree on Christmas eve night before we go to bed.

We put them under a desk in our living room and under a Christmas tree. We do this before Christmas eve.

We put the presents out under the tree on Christmas eve just before we go to bed and then have to keep the cat out the living room until Christmas Morning as he has a thing for eating the wrapping paper!

Until having children that were of an age that know what gifts are, I used to wrap and put them under the tree as I went so they would gradually build up throughout December. I much prefer the look of a tree with gifts underneath. No way we'd get away with it now though so it's Christmas Eve

Now my son is grown up it's as and when I've wrapped them. When he was small it was always Christmas Eve so he wasn't tempted to sneak a peek at them

Usually we put presents for other people under the tree but my 2 year old has discovered unwrapping so we cant put then out as she will open them all the kids presents are out out on xmas eve when their in bed, not under the tree though as theres not enough room

i have older children 14 and 18 so i put them out by the fire in the evening and they help out lol

I don't think the presents will be coming out until tomorrow just before unwrapping. Several of the gifts contain catnip and let's just say a certain puss has picked up on this and earlier attempts to bring the presents down resulted in her trying to unwrap them.
