When Do You Usually Switch on Central Heating?

We don't have a fixed date. We turn it on when it begins to get really cold.

I tend not to feel the cold that much and London usually has a milder winter than other parts of the UK. So, if I'm home alone I normally wouldn't. If I feel a chill I'd put on a jumper before thinking about heading to the thermostat.

Never seriously our house is so old & cold it’s pointless! We always have loads of throws & blankets downstairs for the sofa but it’s a pain getting up in the morning when it’s so cold!!!

We turn it on when we feel the house is cold. So we turned it on for the first time last week. We live on the top of a hill so feel the cold more, but it doesn't take long for our house to heat up and stays warm for ages due to the layout and insulation.
