When Will You next Be Going Abroad?

Ask a Question

Because of the situation I don’t think I’ll be going until theres a vaccine or a cure. What about you? When and where?

I’m hoping to get away later this year, no earlier than October, but that’ll all depend on how things unfold

What an excellent way of ensuring that CV19 is able to travel to all corners of the globe 🌍 !

When will I be going abroad? - probably when hell freezes over (which it could well do with climate change 🤣 🤣 ). Seriously though, no plans to go abroad, I just don't think it is sensible, who wants to potentially die - just for a holiday?! 🐞

Probably not for a good few years.. partly because of Covid and partly because of having a newborn.. I wouldn’t hold out for a vaccine or a cure though as I don’t think there will be one..

The Russians are saying they've created a vaccine for Covid, but I'm still sceptical.

I will not be going anywhere soon, hopefully a vaccine will be found soon. If it goes on and no cure or vaccine I would travel with my car through the channel tunnel.

I am not planning to get away anytime soon. It's not because we are not able to do so, but more that I would not be confident as to how many businesses will be functioning as normal. I value my health more than my need to travel right now.

I find it incredible that people would want to travel this summer. The Government seems to change their mind about the isolation rules as much as they change their pants! Who wants to be worried about whether they have to self-isolate when they get home. Or if indeed they may be stuck in a country due to ever-changing lockdown rulings. Surely this would give holiday plans more anxiety than necessary. I just find it crazy. But it's everyone's right to decide and take the consequences as they fall out.

I am keeping things local until things pull together. I am just not that needy right now.

Xx

i agree with you, there really isn’t any rush for people to go on holiday right now. If it’s weather they’re looking for, this week weather was surely hot enough!

summa68 Absolutely hot enough for anyone here in the UK. It's been a scorcher for the last few weeks on and off. Xx

Ceebers unfortunately I think the hot weather is coming to an end, thunderstorms for the rest of the week. I suppose too much sun can’t be good as we do need rain. Hopefully not a drastic amount that would cause floods.

summa68 It is muggy out there today so a good downpour will make it feel a bit fresher at least. So hot last night. Xx

Not going any time soon, not until things are a lot safer. As much as I love to travel, I value my health more than anything so I’d rather not go away and know I’m safe

I think that I might go tomorrow, get the chance to catch Covid, and then not self isolate for 14 days like all the donuts that are going abroad atm.

Anyone who goes out of the country just for a holiday are totally selfish in my opinion.
