Woke up this morning and it's so darn cold! I thought it was meant to be summer... I'm hoping we will have a couple of gorgeous weather months like last year over the summer but it's not looking likely at this rate. Brr!
I know. Im going on rugby tour to Butlins this weekend and last year we were all sunburnt 
i seen a new article on the daily mail that we are supposed to be having a heatwave then i saw another one that said theres a cold breeze coming into the UK from (maybe the artic) somewhere.
It is summer?
When I was younger, May was spring. When did that change? I am curious. 
Yes you are right, summer is June, July and August. So we still have another month of spring yet.
Lynibis Although I guess with the UK, the weather often isn't in sync with the seasons. For example; we have had summer in late Februrary this year along with it being more wintry the rest of the month, March was spring, and April (apart from that warm spell at Easter) was autumn with a little bit of winter added in. Looks as if the first week of May is going to be quite autumnal as well.
RegularComper90 I know it sounds silly but I have been around quite some time now and it certainly seems as if the seasons are changing, and I don't mean global warming.
