Where's the Best Place to Buy Large Picture Frames?

Ask a Question

Hey everyone,

Quick question for personal reasons!

I'm looking to buy a handful of large A2 picture frames, probably white or black wooden frames.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I've looked online and there are some usual options, but feel like perhaps there's some in-store only places I'm missing?

For example, The Range or HomeSense? That sort of place....

Have you tried Ikea yet? They've always got some cheaper options.

L0ngy Have a look in Wilko - they have this one for £7 (size 24" x20") not a bad size.

or this one 32" x 24" for £9. Anything larger and you'll have to look at frame specialists.

I find Habitat are usually pretty good and have a lot of variety, although it looks like they only have black ones in A2 size right now.

TK Maxx has a "Home" section in its stores. I can't recall seeing large frames in there, but it's always a magical mystery tour trying to find anything in those stores!

I got all these on Amazon Tom. The Last Kingdom one is the largest (doesn't look it due to angle and perspective) and is A2 approximately 16 x 24.

The Game of Thrones are A4 and the rest in between.

Hi, Ive bought a number of the black frames from this ebay seller, they were in the slightly bigger size for my son to display his posters. They were delivered really quickly, well packaged and were great looking for the money I thought. They really set the posters off nice. If you haven’t already bought some, hopefully this will be worth a look? -

there used to be a few joiner places in camden stables market, and I believe they used to sell wooden picture frames cheaply. But it’s been a while, so they’ve probably gone

They're looking good Tom and there's a good selection of prints. I particularly like the architectural drawing as that's my 'thing'..... or is it your house? Ikea will now probably sell a whole lot more of these. 😄

sunny101 Haha so just to clarify in case anyone is wondering, I only got the frames from IKEA. Prints bought separately from other place. The house drawing is just one that reminded me of a London home, not mine! 🙂
