In the News

Have you already been? I really want to go but the weather is making me slightly lazy!

As with Costa and KFC, I like McDonald's but anybody rushing there just because it has recently opened really need to get a life.

I have been doing my own burgers during lockdown and doubt I will ever go back to McD. I don't make the burgers but cook ready made ones, place in a bun with mustard on one half, ketchup on other a slice of cheese and sliced tomato.....yum.

Lynibis Nice. Dinner beckons! I do enjoy a cheap and nasty cheeseburger from the aforementioned supplier but not enough to go out especially for one.

I do like a McDs, but didn't have one that often before lockdown anyway.

I've come across some nice burgers from Iceland .............. Half Pound Aberdeen Angus Burgers.

I really like them, but they are £3.25 for 2 😲

Nope. No fast food chain places in Shetland. Quite glad of that seeing all the cars queuing for coffee the other day.

No thanks. Never really went before and not likely to follow the herd anytime soon. I’ll make my own junk food at home

Not a chance. Seems quite irresponsible, I get that it's mostly safe for those getting their fast food fix (through delivery or drive-thru), but not quite as safe for the workers. They're still cooking/packing/serving orders in close proximity to one another and it just seems to be a stupid and unnecessary risk. I won't be supporting it.

Once Ramadan finishes I'll be heading out. I miss exercise and miss going out. I also miss junk food a lot.

It's not somewhere I go, but I am looking forward to other places reopening. Hopefully soon.

Just showed the queues on tv and had to ask myself why. I like McDonald's as much as the next person but wonder at the mentality of those who are willing to sit in a queue for goodness knows how long to buy an average tasting meal that will take less than 5 minutes to gobble down!

I do miss McDonalds and all the fast food i used to have, but ever since the lockdown i have started a healthy diet and now i’m getting used to it. Super good!

I didn't eat McDonalds before and don't intend to in the future either. It has never been a good 'meal' and I avoid it at all costs. It is fascinating to me that people are prepared to pay for bad food. I don't believe they are very hygienic places either despite their protestations that they are clean and with Covid to contend with it will be even worse. πŸ” 🐞

tumblespots But it tastes good

There's nothing better that a lopsided Big Mac with all the ingredients hanging out of the bap and some luke warm soggy chips πŸ˜‹

I really like McDonald's, depending on how fresh I am getting my burger. I would certainly go to one of these places but not willing to queue for longer than I would on a normal day.
