Whose Made the Jump to an E-Bike from a Conventional Bike?

Other

Anyone now made the jump from conventional bike to e-bike and what have been the good and bad points. Ebike sales have pretty much exploded and now take a significant portion of sales of bikes. It's been a huge revenue stream for companies like Halfords but there has been some reduction in conventional bike sales. Anyone planning to switch soon? Perhaps you are considering upgrading your existing bike with a e-bike kit or Swytch kit?

Lol for a moment I thought you were saying an ebike had actually exploded! I tried one on holiday last year and I fell in love with it instantly - can’t believe I’ve the peddled traditional way all my life! All those uphill inclines were a breeze, and the bike was lightweight too. My next bike will be an ebike but haven’t considered any brands as of yet

Just made me think I wonder if there will be issues with higher prices later in the year due to Covid-19. Lots of e-bike motors even those made in Europe are full of Chinese parts. When importers run out of stock maybe they will be faced with higher costs.
