Why is Everyone Panic Buying
Ask a Question
Why are people buying loo rolls when they should be stocking up on food and other stuff.
Ann1984 true but people are buying like 50 packs and fighting people for them
Goodness knows. I had an online shop delivered last night and had not over ordered anything. Usually they cannot fulfil one or two things but last night it was 10 things! It included vitamin c, coffee mate, Ice cream, Bolognese sauce and white sauce, self raising flour (but got plain), and rice, although the pasta came.
People are just worried about having to self isolate and they don't want to wipe their bum with their hand.
But it has gone silly. I made a Tesco order on Monday and there's been no pasta available since then. And I do like a nice tuna pasta bake.
Anyway, it should all be over by July.
I have no garden should find a good deal on toilet rolls lol , still have some left since last year amazon toilet rolls glitch hahahaha
You go to the supermarket... you see there's no loo rolls on the shelf (and would normally buy 6).
You go to the next supermarket, the shelf is half empty...you buy 12. It's contagious.
Don't worry, once everyone has a few the supermarkets will soon catch up with the spike in demand. If you've bought 60 rolls you're not going to be buying again for a while.
It's not just us, the Australians have been panic buying loo paper too, and the Thais have been panic buying face masks in the millions....
