Why Are People Sharing Individual Items Instead of the Entire Deal?

I've seen individual jackets being posted when a link to show that there is 80% off kids jackets would have done the trick. Are points so important? I'm seeing so many doubles lately - just a little frustrated by not seeing new things.

It is easy for dupes to crop up. I have been guilty of that too in the past. I stick to posting three deals a day if possible.
