I do live animals, so I think it’s a good thing. But the lands are not like what they used to be, so is this just going to be a wasted venture?
Farmers will probably kill them if they lose any hens and don't envy the poor animals having to survive. My mother had a cat that lasted about 26-28 years but feral cats in the wild only last about 5 years I believe. Still think its a good move though as it just seems like the UK country side is too sterile and controlled and you get more diseased animals because of lack of predators.
I guess that’s true, and I’m sure nature lovers do love spotting wild creatures on their hikes. Wow that’s a long life for a cat
