This one needs imagination, not memory. The opposite of my last post and I think social media will soon lead us to lose the art of conversation, just speaking orders to a robot.
Silly question really, no one has a crystal ball in order to predict the future. Perhaps mystic meg would be of some assistance in this instance.
Probably: Rheumatism, hearing loss, cataracts, a bus pass and a dodgy memory OOPS! I just remembered I don't have any grandchildren yet.
I was thinking more on the line of inventions, like fully driverless cars, robots operating on you, cars that can sense if you are drunk, tired or drugged up. But yeh, expect they will still suffer all that health stuff!
Yes, but will probably have some sort of vacuum packed nutrition bar that supplies all our daily needs and tastes rubbish.
I just think technology will do everything. I guess we're already there with some things if you have enough money. Bought a fridge freezer recently and there was one there that had an app that would remote message message you the contents and tell you when you need to replace stuff. Humans are really dumbing down if its become too much work to open a fridge and say 'ooh, I need more cheese'..... I guess cars will become just a matter of sitting in there and telling them where to go to (not to the shops as real actual shops by then completely phased out.) I don't know - I'd like to say advancements in medicines etc etc
You are so right. It is like society is trying to zombiefy us and we will lose the ability to do anything for ourselves. They tell us to move around and exercise more but keep inventing things that enable us to move less!
Something you already see in films will probably be commonplace; walking round the house speaking commands like close/open curtains, answer phone, turn tv on, run a bath etc.
Lab-grown meat, electric cars deffo... but probably not owning them, more self-driving ubers.... I like to think by then 100% renewable energy (but somehow British Gas will still be ripping them off), and in the same way as plastic making everything... the beginnings of nano-materials.
