I try to stick to a budget but always have a small contingency fund should I need to splash out a little more. I contain my shopping to Amazon so that I can take advantage of my eVouchers stashed away, as well as the free Prime delivery. I find it works really well, and I get through Christmas without any financial setbacks. I only really spend out on food. Xx

I think I'll be spending a little less. Usually, I do most of my Christmas shopping in store, going to several different shops. But this year I want to avoid the crowds of people so will be shopping online, probably just on Amazon.

I never go overboard for Christmas anyway but we are spending less this year. All my sons presents have been paid for with an ELC voucher that I won, we have agreed with our in laws that we aren't buying presents for each other this year, to save the money for when allowed to travel again and use it towards that instead and never spend more than a certain amount on my parents but need to ask them what they want this year. My husband and I don't buy each other presents and won't be starting this year. I never buy presents for my friends anyway, so unless I see something that my best friend will love I won't be buying anything.

We will be spending less, me, my sister and mum ect have agreed not to buy for each other and just for the kids. When all this is over we are going to do a day where we go for a nice meal and gets each other gifts then.

My mum and sister to are not the best at online shopping and prefer to go into stores ect. They both fall under the vunerable category, so I prefer that they stay safe.

Keeping them safe and us being able to spend time with each other is more important than gifts.

I'll probably end up spending more but buying less but that's because normally, I use money made from survey sites to cover Xmas gifts but earnings haven't been so good this year

I think I have gone overboard on what I have bought my son, I have been buying all year, every time I've seen a bargain and putting them away. I haven't tallied up what I have spent, but I know that I haven't saved as much as I normally do. 🤔

We’re cutting down on gifting at Christmas and have decided to spend more on birthday presents. Christmas has become too commercial and I hate the attitudes of spend, spend, spend. This year we are buying our daughter a big tv for birthday and our son would like a new mattress.
