What kind of wine glass you prefer?
Ask a Question
I'm looking for a good quality wine glass. I'm willing to go to about £35 - £40 if needed. Anybody recommend anywhere to get one?
You didn't state red or white and that price for one??? Drinking from a decent glass is my guilty pleasure, especially the 'open up' type. Look for Sommelier glasses. I know that Crosby's have a sale at the moment so well worth a look.

angemski clearly I'm quite ignorant when it comes to wine glasses, I didn't know there is was a difference. It's for a red wine drinker. Yes for 1 glass, it doesn't have to be that much, just a good quality glass. Just looked at the link you put, and noticed various sizes, what size would you recommend? I don't want a massive 1 nor a tiny 1. I'm not a wine drinker at all
RnD194hd Clearly your friend is to be impressed and way out of my league. I would be looking for six at that price. I like these but I think you really need to google specialist sommelier glassware to get a better option.
There is also a discount code on the page - don't know if this will work on top of the sale but always worth a try!
Dilligaf With Portmeiron check the description small print carefully to find out where the product was actually manufactured.
Loads of product is no longer manufactured in the UK and the quality is not as good as it once was. If you buy, check the product carefully for flaws before gifting.
I had to return 6 wine glasses as every single one was faulty in some way. Portmeiron customer service didn’t seem to be at all surprised. So much for quality control!
RnD194hd I got given some lovely ones and high quality will look at name when I get back
Wow! I thought i was paying over the odds when i had a personalised photo mug for £9 i had my wine glasses in the poundshop
