lizzie95xx lol the Russians cope better than us. Ever seen them take a swim in freezing temperatures? that is not me - I like to dip in warmer waters 😊

salmanabbas I'd be the wimpiest Russian around! We have a friend from Moscow that parades around in t-shirts when it is 10 degrees celsius - so freezing for us barely tickles him (I don't think he even owns a coat! just a little jacket)

AgnesFaludi I know what you mean - tbh it started to feel like spring last week, as I noticed that some flowers have already started to bloom...but they are sure to die again by the end of this week

Hi hspexy here in the highlands on Monday 31st December we had 80mph to 90 mph and that last UNTILL the next day. After that the weather has settled down . But for how long. Now it's icy cold I can put up with that but not the rain or the wind. Making home made soups. And just trying to keep warm. But it did say it's going to get a lot worse . -5 during the day and night. And snow and ice on the way. But they keeps it but we never get it. But I am all stocked up with every thing. 🦉🦉

hspexy you do get use to the weather and what you have to do. I live on a small farm. The sheep take them self in side when weather is bad. I've a horse and like the sheep takes her self in side. I do love this way of life it's good for me has I am disable. No one lives never me. And my drive is half mile long to get on the main road. 🦉🦉

nicolajaynehend wow sounds very remote. I would actually love to get away from it all, as it is less stressful. I'll take the company of animals to humans any day 😜

I hate winter. I don't understand how anyone can actually like the cold. Humans aren't designed to enjoy being cold. 🌡️ x

I agree - I am layered up like I am from the Victorian era, and it is so awkward to just visit the loo! I need the sun

hspexy it is so much more than good, but of course different strokes for different folks, we can't all like the same things. If you like real action in a historical setting and don't mind some bloody violence.......?

I can distance myself from historical violence because it was a fact of life I cannot change. However I cannot watch present day violence depicting how horrible some people still are. I expect more from modern man and actually cried when Cain Dingle got beaten up on Emmerdale. I know it's acting but I was so upset that there are actually people who are capable of such atrocities and it makes me weep.

KazLou have just realised that you meant the new series, but again I don't know. We must Google it.
