Love winter cooking for the family but need some new ideas
What are your fav winter warmers for the family ?
ShellyWilliams chop carrots parsnips good steak brown in pan put all in slow cooker dice potatoes put them in addition a little water or if you want real traditional a bit of black tea when cooked add a spoonful of Bisto and your done best thing about winter

Stew pack potatoes boil for few hours on low hour before serving chop up corned beef and cook further hour.
Cowboy pie
In a pierex dish layer of beans then slice corn beef another layer beans then topped mash potatoes and grated cheese. Looks messy when served but tastes nice.
Cheap and filling with some baked bread baguette
Growing up we always looked forward to mum making Panacalty in the winter. It's still a fav of mine & is really easy & cheap to make. We serve ours inside a large yorkshire pud. The recipe we use is very similar to this one.
