Woman Sent Tiny Miniature Christmas Tree after Ordering a 6ft One

Ask a Question

I could not post the link as you need a facebook account to see it

The woman says she is devastated after receiving a miniature christmas tree instead of a 6ft one from temu

The title of the article made me laugh ''

'' What in the Universal Credit is going on here ''

A Woman from Leeds says TEMU have absolutely DESTROYED her Christmas after delivering the wrong size tree and now her daughter can’t sleep.

Tish Hughes said: ‘I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. We ordered a 6ft tree with lights included and this is the rap they’ve sent. I’m absolutely seethin. I think they stuck pomegranate seeds on the outside as baubles and now the cat has eaten 4 of them… wtf

Do you think she is right to complain on social media or should just suck it up ?

She is acting as if is the worst thing that has happened to her in her life

Receiving a tiny Christmas tree does not destroy Christmas. Some are living in poverty, flooded homes and war zones. Get a grip!

My most recent stuff I’ve ordered from there have been poor. Ordered stuff like ice tray all damaged, baubles all dented and damaged, don’t think I’ll be ordering again

KateGriff169 They will refund with no questions asked, as soon as the parcel is collected from your house. You can also claim for any price drop within 30 days and you can do multi price reduction refunds.

I ordered a lot of Christmas decor this year from them as they have so many nice designs, if you look on youtube you can find a lot of ideas what you can buy from Temu. Also the Christmas decor you will buy now. after Christmas will drop in price so you can get your price reduction refunds 🤑

She is lucky she has one. Some people can not afford a Christmas tree

Temu are often extremely small or poor quality products unfortunately you get what you pay for. However I have seen some good products too but you just can't tell what you will get with them.

Not surprised really. It's always wise to read size and dimensions when you buy stuff.Especially from Chinese sites. Image

This is another story which I am not quite believing. The picture is hilarious, can’t believe these items were sent together. Maybe two separate pieces and she has put them together. I have had a few issues with the quality of Temu but always got my money back. Has it really stopped her daughter sleeping and destroyed Christmas, it’s not even December yet.

eyeballkerry I doubt if temu would read the article or even care about them complaining E , they have more chance of compensation from father christmas

telmel You are probably right, big companies do not worry about the little people. But Temu are very good at refunds.

eyeballkerry Yes i have had a few, but i think its a waste of time trying to use social media to get things done, there are better ways , i always either just fill in a refund form and get the choice of money back or credit if something is wrong, and once or twice spoke on live chat where this wasn't an option , most of the time it gets resolved

I didn't bother complaining about the miniature water feature, it was only £1 or so and i have had some great purchases on other products

Omg that's funny but not funny at the same time. It would suck but not ruin my Xmas

Jerseydrew If she is that desperate she could go to a charity shop or car boot sale for one , people throw old ones out all the time , one things for sure, she doesn't need the boot for this one, the glove compartment would do

Here's one she could make herself, but it might be a bit small

Would be good to provide a link to temu and not cry about it or get the story to the newspaper, it's always described in the product description the actual size. Yes the pictures are many times misleading but you should do your research and take time to check the size or what you will get.

No sympathy from me, sorry.

They might appear on another remake of 'honey, i shrunk the kids' sometime in the future, but they would have to rename it 'honey, temu shrank our christmas tree ' 😀

My Boss ordered thought that he'd ordered a 10 foot tree for his back garden which actually turned out to be 10 metres.
