Anyone made something decent out of wood pallets and if so what was it.
Also where is the best place to pick up pallets please?
Possibly eBay? I don't know if this is the best or cheapest place to get them but could be a good option 
I'd imagine its an item you'd collect though so if you're doing so right now be sure to be safe and social distance
I quite often see people asking for pallets for their projects on NextDoor (the neighborhood hub), and getting them free.
We live over the road from B&Q and they have a skip at the back for them. We asked the manager and he said we could help ourselves so worth an ask. We built a bug hotel for our little boys beavers group

Often turn up free on facebook marketplace and gumtree. We recently made a side storage next to our garage to store barrels, piping etc (we make our own biodiesel). Hubby has made a log store out of pallets also.
Facebay? My friends partner has been making picnic benches for kids and squirrel benches for the garden. Have also seen a few people post that they are selling wooden drinks bars for the garden. Most local beer places or smaller shops get rid of wooden pallets
