With world book day almost upon us (groans all round from parents/carers) i wondered how many people put effort in to making a costume v buying one, my DD is 12 so I’m praying to the gods that with senior school we are over all that. Anyone actually enjoy it?

I hate it daughter hates dressing up plus school decides whice book it don't stop at primary sadly high school do it too. It's just another money making day for shops

some of the kids don't bother mind they go in normal clothes well 65 percent of them 
Never enjoyed it myself when in junior school. Some schools let children decide whether or not they want to dress up which is good. Some schools tell kids to dress up when they shouldn't.
