There's a few ideas in this list of 50 ways to earn extra money I've posted before:

Some of the simplest ways to earn extra income are to run an ironing service from home, to baby-sit in your local area, and to hand-deliver free local magazines and newspapers in nearby streets.
If your children are very young and you can't leave the home then you probably need to look at more computer-based work like transcribing, data entry etc. and/or some kind of telesales or customer service work.
Tip - calling people to renew an existing order - like a magazine subscription or existing club membership - is much easier than cold calling (i.e. selling them something they don't know if they want or need).
HI SalmaS
Sadly Moneywise closed down in the summer of 2020, so I think that article will be hard to get now.
Here's a couple of others that might help you:

Do NOT fall into the trap of Pyramid selling. It's subtle but if you have to pay out for anything, or buy a start up kit, or sign up to being under someone else, selling holidays or shares, or whatever run fast away.
Hi thanks for replying. Yeah that's what I'm trying to avoid as I don't want to get caught up with that all
I'm also trying to find something like this, have you found anything. I've seen jobs like transcript but they require alot of time and don't really pay as much
You could try telephone interviewing for market research companies. I think most interviewers are based at home nowadays.
I think we are at mixed questions ? Working from home in an existing career ? Against working from home as a career choice (or maybe earning as a sideline ? )
I'm afraid in my experience (as a consumer ) working from home employees (and it is obvious !) have no idea -maybe why they are working from home ? In the old days a junior employee used to put their hand up and a more senior employee would seamlessly advise them .
I have personally binned 2 insurance companies and one financial company in the last year because of this . I understood it during the height of the pandemic -fair enough - but "working from home " has just bred incompetence - and I have told the companies involved why they no longer have my custom !
Some jobs can easily be done "from home" or anywhere else. I prefer a mix of the two, and this will probably be the future.
At first, I thought this would put an end to the large centres, which concentrate all restaurants and offices, but as time went by I saw that all these people working from home started to live locally, which is improving smaller cities that they were before. just dorm room.
Hopefully more companies will see the benefits of hybrid working and this becomes the future. The employees are happier and happier staff will be more productive.
