World Mental Health Day Today, What Makes You Glad to Be Alive?

Ask a Question

We have had some unusual times of late, pushing many to the limit. Through it all what has made you smile.

For me it is my children and working from home. How about you?

Taking the time to take long leisurely walks in nature and enjoy seeing the wildlife during different seasons.

Previously I would put it off thinking I had too much to do but not anymore.

Gardens are great, I love My fruit trees hate wood pigeons, I try to grow veg but have not cracked it yet. I did manage broccoli this year, for the first time. I leave the flowers to the wife.

Howmuch if you can grow broccoli I’m sure you could grow most other veg. Courgettes and tomatoes are easy.

Grannyclock Tomatoes worked well a few years back with a plastic green house while it lasted, tried outside poor results. courgettes might be an idea for next year, I could make a frame . Carrots are my nemesis, No success with such a cheap veg to buy, it can not be that hard or they would be more expensive .

Two of mine are just about to leave education, starting first jobs, it is great to see the hard work is paying off. My wife definitely agrees with Chocolate being an important part of life.
