Do You Wrap or Bag Your Presents?

Ask a Question

I always wrap mine unless Its an odd shape etc or has a posh bag with it. I know this might be silly but I dont get the same enjoyment opening a gift bag as I do tearing open my present. Anyone else?

does it depend on the items? I do think a wrapped present looks prettier but I probably should bag as my wrapping skills are not up to magical elf level 😊

I prefer wrapping, it seems to add a bit more mystry abd excitement especially for kids. If it's a bottle of wine then I will usually use a bag.

I prefer to gift wrap with a bow or some other embellishmen but if it’s a very large present it has to be bagged.

I always wrap presents for Christmas, excluding bottles of alcohol that I will put in a bottle bag or this year I got little Christmas jackets for the bottles which look super cute. For birthdays or other events this year I have tended to put them in bags because it looks so much neater and it’s such a time and effort saver!

It depends on the present. If it is a bottle of alcohol then it goes in a bag, if it is easy to wrap then it gets wrapped and sometimes put into a bag. Trying to wrap presents this year was much harder than normal as my son kept stealing the sellotape!

Normally wrap. Even odd shaped gifts - that makes it an interesting challenge! But if I'm in a mad rush, bag!

Usually always wrap. It has a different feel to it watching someone else open something excitedly that is wrapped compared to having a peek in a bag

Always wrap. I know I might sound mad but I've always loved wrapping and my family and friends know that to so they tend to bring their presents to me to wrap sometimes
