Hopefully it does well to keep Microsoft in the market, always need competition in any market. This could be the console to get me back into playing games again.

What do you think of the price? I am happy with it, about where I expected it to be, under the £500 mark. Anything more for a console would just die due to beingoout of the price range of most. But at £450 launch price (and they may even make a loss on that) it is not too shabby a price for what people are getting. Only problem is, come Xmas time the PS4 Pro may have reduced massivley in price and a good £300 bundle could be a possibility, meaning parents will go for that for their kids instead of the new Xbox which could be a defining factor in the shelf life of the console and whether Microsoft stay in the market.

CashoutCarl Think the price might be suitable for what it is but Xbox One just doesn't have exclusives to make it worth it overall, imo. PS4 or a PS4 Pro are a much better deal/gaming system to play third party games and exclusives.

God of War on Sony's E3 looked friggin' amazing!

Rockman True mate, every gaming site I look at all I see in the comments section are people talking about exclusives so it seems this is a big deal when people consider the purchase. Something Microsoft are stupid for not making sure this new console has at least 2 100% new exclusives as the comments sections of the gaming sites are straight from the gamers mouths, the ones who part with their cash. You would have thought someone at Microsoft with a bit of clout about them would have made sure they got some deals in place for the system, but once again they are not listening to the public, the hands that feed them.

With no exclusives how can they ever expect to take back market share from Sony? Especially as not everyone has a 4K TV and may not be in the market for one for another year or two, meaning they have no reason whatsoever to be tempted to invest in Microsoft, they will just stick with their PS4 (pro) as it does all they need plus more.
