Poaching has always been a big problem in many countries, South Africa being one of the main
But to think over one hundred beautiful creatures , the Rhino, have been killed for their horns is astounding
And what beggars belief is most have been shot inside national parks, where they are supposed to be protected
The leader of one gang was sent to prison for 27 years for this crime, but even that has not deterred the poachers, Rhino horn is so valuable on the black market the gangs risk everything for it
All this because of the demand for carved objects made from their horns, disgusting !!

I think it is sick that people do this jail is not good enough they don't have enough security in the park
It's absolutely disgusting that it is still going on so much. I remember being in Africa and we were on a guided tour but had to abruptly stop and get away as Poachers were seen in the distance. It was very scary when their security came extremely quickly but they do try so hard to stop it.

martinlufc5637 That's true M, unfortunately they have strong traditions and beliefs driven from the dark ages and trying to get them to stop using them is difficult
Sadly as long as there's a sick demand for anything unacceptable then there will always be the crime of poaching. Personally my opinion is that the bast**ds need shooting.
This is disgusting. Security should be able to shoot the poachers if they are caught. Killing an animal for what a horn to be sold on the black market.
