Yellow Sticker Success!! What did you find today?
Feedback
Hey everyone! Thought it'd be great to have a thread about sharing our yellow sticker success!
On Thursday I got 2 lamb shanks at M&S from £10 down to £3.49. Made a date-night particularly enjoyable
I find M&S an often over-looked place in the bargain hunting community. They have loads of yellow sticker items, and because it starts at a higher price you get bigger bargains!
I agree tom i bought the ten pound dine in for two yesterday fed five of us well impressed
That's always a good one. Not sure if it could stretch 5 ways in my household...
By the Latest Deals office (which is actually called a 'loft') there's a Tesco Express. At about 7pm they reduce all the sandwiches. So I very often buy that in the evening for my next day's lunch.
The M&S store does this as well. But they have fancier lunches! Sometimes it's quite the treat
Maybe we should make some T-Shirts that say "I Yellow Stickers"
I've just spoken to Kelsey about how this would be the perfect Chat thread if we could post pictures to it. I'd love to share more cooking photos and in-store deals etc. Sometimes I feel on the LD Facebook page it's not quite the right place for it. What do you think? If you could post a photo in comments & chat, do you think you would? Bargain28 and everyone else reading this!
I have added a tesco yellow sticker thread to deals if that was ok and i think a option of adding photos is a great idea
So this isn't a yellow sticker, but I just went to Iceland and bought a large bag of chicken "portions". It cost about £3.50ish.
I cook them in one go: straight into the oven, and they'll last me a week for my lunches. I take them in a
box.
Then on the side I have a portion of mixed beans, couscous and other veg, also from Iceland. This bag costs £1.50ish.
It's so easy and is £5 for a protein rich lunch every day at work
I have no big stores near to me and my tesco express do not have much items with yellow sticker.
Also one I bought some burger buns with yellow sticker on and when I came home I saw even did not expired, it had mold on it. So be careful with the yellow ticket items....
Today I got 2 swede for 17p each, sugarsnap peas for 59p, bread for 25p, bags of brussels sprouts for 36p, 15 apples for £1.25, 2 toothbrushes for 16p, 12 cans of cat food for £3.49, a bag of kale for 19p, a triple sandwich for £1.68 and 12 sachets of soup for 50p. It was a pretty good day for yellow sticker items here, I guess! Typically I only get a couple of things a time but there was loads today.
cocolgooh Morrisons usually have loads of yellow stickers at Ellesmere Port especially the Deli, sos rolls pies etc
UPDATE - You can now post pictures of your yellow sticker bargains in the comments
I bought 4 of these....after Christmas. My local Tesco Express do not stock them anymore. And these won't expire till 2018.
Ah I knew there was a yellow sticker thread already! I'll delete that other one I started. Stupid me.
thanks, have to go to a few stores sometimes, M&S have wised to my ways, there's definitely a lot less fresh sandwiches/pasta being made lately
