How Are You? Really.
Ask a Question
I feel like in this world the question How are you has become a way of greeting and the answer Fine as a reply. So instead of replying with a genuine answer we go about saying fine. So How are you really? Is the stress of getting Christmas gifts for everyone getting too much? Or are you truly looking forward to something?
I'm okay at the moment. Not feeling stressed about Christmas, but not really feeling very festive either. I think things just feel a bit different this year.
I am fine. I genuinely mean that. I'm all sorted for Christmas, I'm not stressed about money, my family are healthy, I can afford to pay the bills. The lock down has had no impact on my emotions or mental health. I never feel festive at this time of year, I don't tend to feel festive until about the 22nd or 23rd December anyway.
Very tired.
I start looking forward to Christmas when everything but the cooking is done. I thought I was on track to get everything done but had week off to homeschool my son who had to isolate
I feel a lot better than I did a month or two ago.
Thank you for asking.
How are you ladybugncatnoir ?
Tbh the last thing in the world most people want is for someone to reply 'well actually............'. and then reel off a load of woe is me.
Good.
Well, reading a thread where grown men become all bicker at each other for some buying too many and others not any.. Christ, it's a friggin' game console. Sigh. They ain't got no self-respect.
