eyeballkerry I've only just discovered this site too (after a recommendation on here) and love it. Easy to scan, verifies quickly and no long waits to cash it out (towards bills) 😊

I recently discovered this up too 🤗 but haven’t claimed any money yet. I have to say though they do add up very quickly.

In order to claim money does it have to cover the whole bill amount?

No, it just puts a credit in for your next payment.

I recently downloaded this app and am really impressed with the concept and how quickly your rewards can build! I am however having a bit of an issue adding a biller - I waned to use my phone contract which it says you can but I don't have all of the information eg my billers bank sort code and bank account number. Any advice?

If you don’t have those details at the back of your paper bill just call your biller to ask for the information. Just make sure you add your phone account number as a reference 🤗

You can contact zip zero through the app and they'll give you the account number and sort code and tell you how to find the reference number.

Yes, you need to put in your bill information. But at the moment the site is having problems. They were looking for a new sponsor and since then they have not been paying out. I have two payments that are pending, one has been waiting since August for £20.71. Last payment I actually got was 27th July. Overall I have been paid £138.45 towards my phone bill.

It is a great app but they like eyeballkerry said they are requiring new backing . I have indeed carried on doing the receipts so if the problems do end then I can cash in .Right now Ive got over £500 ready to pay towards my bills.

WOW you've accumulated a decent amount. I have carried on doing it too but only managed to get like £30 and I was pleased with that before I seen your comment

Update from ZIPZERO to my email addre

ss

Dear ZIPZERO Users,

We hope you all are safe and doing well. 2020 is finally behind us. It is only natural that we keep the faith that the situation will soon improve - for ZIPZERO and for us all - in the new year.

2020 will be remembered as the year when we had to constantly consider and reconsider whether it made sense to keep fighting for ZIPZERO. At times, it seemed as if it would be easier to give up than to keep on pushing. What kept us going during these trying times were all the encouraging words from our users. This support helped us stand strong in our long-standing mission to help each and every consumer to monetise the value of their shopping data and to secure the benefits of sharing that data within the digital economy.

We realise that for many of you out there, it may be hard to keep the faith. Of course, we have seen the comments from users that claim we may never deliver and they feel let down. We understand where this frustration comes from. We know we have kept our users in limbo since last spring - right when the pandemic hit and our business was left stranded like so many other young businesses in 2020. Despite our best efforts, we weren’t able to secure funding in 2020 and we weren’t able to cover your rewards over that period.

At the same time, we want to make it clear that we have not profited in any way from the receipts scanned into the app. However, the fact that the majority of our users continued to scan their receipts (and mail in their online receipts) has meant that we are able to show traction and prove our value proposition to prospective investors. Our business is founded on a sense of propriety and we could not fathom going against the interests of our users. We will never profit from our users’ data without their knowledge and without extending a fair share of those profits with our community of users.

We built ZIPZERO with the firm conviction that everyone should have access to the digital economy and be able to draw out a maximum benefit from their participation in it. Every day, big corporations benefit by funnelling millions of pounds to their businesses thanks to the data that consumers share online on a daily basis. We started ZIPZERO to give people like us a way to monetise their own data for their own benefit. We believe that corporations should revert a fair share of the digital economy back into the pockets of consumers themselves. This faith has bolstered our fight to survive 2020 intact and to see the light at the end of the tunnel in 2021. We are committed to seeing our mission come to fruition!

So the most important question right now is this: what’s the status of ZIPZERO? Since our last update, we’ve had to shift our strategy quite significantly. Many investors that we spoke within the fall were interested in taking a slice of our technology and data - but we are determined to stick to our goal of finding an investor who is not only interested in our financial potential - but also our social mission of unlocking the benefits of the digital economy for our users. We have established contacts with some promising candidates and we are sticking to our timeline of securing the funds we need within the first quarter of 2021.

Big thank you again to all of you sticking by us. We look forward to finally sharing some good news for our users and the future of the business.

Yours,

The ZIPZERO Founders

Aymeric & Marcin
