The Botanist

If you’re our lucky winner, you’ll bag a marvellous day out with five of your favourite people on the late May bank holiday weekend. You’ll start at MEATliquor, where you’ll have £150 to spend on an indulgent mix of burgers, chicken wings and loaded fries, all washed down with beers and boozy shakes.

Then you’re off bar-hopping, with £50 to spend in three popular Leeds bars. First, head to Tapped where you can choose from 13 cask ales, 14 craft keg beers and over 100 bottled beers from all over the world. Just around the corner, The Botanist offers a surprisingly diverse anthology of ales, alongside inspired cocktails like The Thai Chilli Crush, a refreshing mix of Tanqueray Gin, green apple liqueur, red chilli, micro Thai basil, apple and lemon juice. From here, jump in the lift and head to Angelica – grab a place on the terrace and enjoy the views with a bottle of fine wine or one of their exceptional cocktails.

It doesn’t end there, but before you go on, you’ll need to fuel up, so nip into Cielo Blanco for a Mexican feast. You can tuck into pork carnitas, chicken tinga tacos and sticky beef tostadas with £150 to spend on your dinner. Finally, finish your night at The Alchemist, where you can indulge in £50 worth of experimental tipples like The Colour Changing One, which brings together One Reyka Vodka, Briottet Apple, lemonade and citrus, with a surprise in store.
