We’re offering a chance to win a weekend away, staying for two nights in a luxury suite at Cedar Manor boutique hotel in Windermere – and taking part in a distance of your choice (1 or 2 mile, or 5km) at the Great North Swim.

Three days of amazing open water swimming and swimrun adventures, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Lake District, with an event village full of activities for everyone.

The Arla Great North Swim offers swimmers a range of distances for all abilities, from a 250m to a 10km swim and lots of distances in between!

Cedar Manor

Cedar Manor, a family-owned, luxury boutique hotel in Windermere, offers an intimate and elegant experience, perfect for romantic breaks or peaceful getaways and ideally located for exploring our beautiful world heritage site, the Lake District National Park. The property started life as a Victorian country house but now offers boutique accommodation as a Lake District country house hotel with ten individually styled rooms and suites. We’ve lovingly refurbished the interiors, retaining much of the original character whilst adding bold contemporary furnishings, colours and design touches along with all the latest creature comforts – everything is supremely homely yet luxuriously indulgent.

Serving breakfast using the finest local ingredients and, a traditional Afternoon Tea for Two, we will deliver both with friendly and professional service.

The Prize: a two-night stay in the “Orrest Head Suite” including breakfast on both mornings of your stay. The stay is to commence on 12 or 13 June 2025 to coincide with the Great North Swim. The stay is for 2 adults sharing the Suite in a superking size bed. The suite also comes with ensuite bathroom and your own private sitting room.

Terms & conditions: The bed and breakfast prize is based on two people sharing a suite for two nights at Cedar Manor and includes breakfast the following morning. The prize is only valid for stays commencing on 12 or 13 June 2025, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash value.
