Like so many people, I’m dreaming of travelling again. While I can’t do so right now, the next best thing is to indulge my tastebuds by eating the kind of food I love when I AM away from home. Seggiano is both a small town in Tuscany and the name of a specialist food producer with a focus on sustainable agriculture and premium Italian products. Originally small-batch olive oil producers, David and Peri, the founders of Seggiano have built their business by finding specialist producers from different parts of Italy, true Italian artisanal food!

The olive oil, Lunaio Extra Virgin Olive Oil is still one of their leading products, but it has been joined by a whole range of delicious bottles and jars – artichokes from Sicily, wild asparagus from Tuscany, olives from Puglia and more. When I heard about them recently, I had a special request for the kind of food that I might enjoy in Puglia – and was rewarded with a whole selection (and some of their own olive oil) which I’ll be using to make a feast of dishes from Puglia to pair with some wine.
