hat we expected
Visited a couple of weeks ago, overnight stay originally booked before Covid and have stayed several times before. Check in was well organised and the room was clean and comfortable, however I literally had to bend over backwards to have a shower as the ceiling was so low that the shower head could not have been positioned any higher! There was an itinery printout in the room, which stated that the Heat Experience was booked for 4pm.
After lunch the only option was to use the pool, where there were about 10 other people in various spots. The sauna and the steam room adjacent to the pool were both closed, as was the outdoor heated jacuzzi pool. At 4pm we went to the Heat Experience, where we were checked in by a member of staff, and went into one of the saunas. Having waited so long for an hour slot we thought that we would have exclusive use- how wrong we were! As we sat in the sauna several other people came into it, no social distancing, no nothing. Each area of the Heat Experience was the same, and we left after around 40 minutes as we had been previously instructed that if we needed to use the bathroom we had to return to our room.
On a more positive note the meals were very good and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
I have heard really amazing feedback about this spa, would be amazing to win this break
